About INGENS

Clarity for complex business decisions.

INGENS helps organisations bring clarity to complex situations, reduce unnecessary risk and make better decisions before problems become expensive.

An independent consulting practice based in Ireland.

Why INGENS Exists

INGENS did not begin with a business plan. It began with an observation shaped over more than three decades of seeing organisations from many different perspectives.

I worked in technical, operational, commercial and service environments. I participated in business ventures, social projects and collaborations with specialists and decision-makers across different industries.

Despite the differences between organisations, the same pattern appeared repeatedly. Information was available. Specialists were available. Resources were available. Yet organisations continued to lose time, money and energy on problems that could have been prevented.

The issue was rarely a lack of knowledge. More often, it was a lack of connection between people, information, responsibility and decisions.

INGENS was created to help organisations bring clarity to complex situations, reduce unnecessary risk and make better decisions before problems become expensive.

Who Leads INGENS

INGENS was founded by Piotr Kacperek, whose education and experience span technical, information technology, business and organisational fields. This combination of perspectives is reflected in the way INGENS approaches complex organisational problems.

Over the years, his work has involved organisations facing very different challenges, yet often the same underlying issues: unclear ownership, fragmented information and decisions made without sufficient context.

Rather than focusing on a single discipline, his professional path led to a broader understanding of how people, processes, information and systems influence one another.

Two questions have remained constant throughout that journey: how does it work, and how can it work better?

INGENS is a practical extension of that perspective.

How INGENS Is Structured

INGENS is organised around consulting as the central decision-support function.

Depending on the nature of the problem, consulting engagements can be supported by specialist capabilities in Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Cyber Security and Legal Services.

This structure allows clients to access relevant expertise without having to coordinate multiple independent providers.

The objective is not to add complexity, but to help organisations understand situations more clearly and move forward with confidence.

Specialists and Partners

Complex problems rarely fit neatly into a single discipline.

For that reason, INGENS works with trusted specialists and partner organisations when additional expertise is required.

Depending on the assignment, this may include cyber security professionals, data analysts, legal practitioners and other subject matter experts.

This approach allows projects to remain proportionate to the actual needs of the client while ensuring access to relevant expertise when needed.
